Where do we start…. I know. I was born. No, really I was born. I remember using a handheld tape recorder interviewing myself walking the red carpet for Essence Magazine. Every report card stated: Does not use time wisely, lol. Every family member can attest to me “talking all of the time”. So, let’s just say that I was a born talker. That’s why I started there. DUH!!! I

wanted to be a Psychologist earlier in my life. A graduate of the prestigious Cornell University, that never happened, but LIFE surely did, and let’s just say I graduated Cum Laude of Life. The “roaring twenties” led to the “grow up, you’re thirty”. Until now. But, now I also realize I had to walk that walk in order for me to talk this talk. How about that?

So, there I was watching women that didn’t look like me give life advice on what it was to be me. How dare they? Just goes to show that with enough money behind you people will think you know what you’re talking about. So I gathered my sister-cousins and said “let’s do a podcast”.

Lipstik N Lies has evolved so much since that day. I’ve grown tremendously. I’m still out here learning and hoping that my experiences will give you the freedom to live your experiences
